Optical dissolved oxygen sensor
OXY-DIOS-DSP is a high quality process sensor of a concentration of oxygen dissolved in the wastewater, potable and tap water. The sensor ensures a quick measurement response and a minimum drift at the level of +/-0.2mgO2/L/year. In the typical operating conditions a calibration is required once a year, and a change of its measuring window once per two years. Due to the applied measurement method an oxygen probe does not require an application of electrolytes and exchangeable membranes. OXY-DIOS-DSP was designed for operating in the heavy environmental conditions. A sensor body is entirely made of acid-proof titanium steel. A substrate of the measuring windows is impact-resistant sapphire glass. The standard version contains a system of pneumatic cleaning. A periodical maintenance is not required. The sensor does not require an external transmitter what significantly reduces costs of its purchase and a degree of complexity while connecting it to the PLC controller. The integrated universal transmitter allows for a communication in the MODBUS/RS485, CANopen/CANBUS, USB standard or using the isolated current loop 4-20mA. The integrated USB port is for performing a configuration and calibration. No addition software is required. |
